In modern culture, it is taboo to be exposed. In reality it's natural, it's life. When art meets anatomy, it turns into expression, a statement, a beginning of a gender unity.

  • Question: Regarding the latest comment: I know posting new drawings every week (day would be to often imo) wouldn't be much different. (except maybe the "pose")
But I think it might could be nice to try and maybe re-lit the spark in this project.

Try to tell more people about it, maybe make a facebook group, youtube stuff or something? (althou I'm not to sure how it would be towards the "terms and agreements"...

these are great ideas, unfortunately I (lilliosa) don’t have enough energy for this project right now, as I already wrote in a previous post :/

  • Question: Maybe the reason you haven't had such a following is because you haven't advertised this. Maybe you can start by putting this on your profile somewhere? - Anonymous

I (lilliosa) don’t have enough energy for this project right now. it’d be great if some people would advertise for it…

I just can’t do anything at the moment (personal issues).

  • Question: Why did you stop posting? - Anonymous
  • Answer:

it seems like no one else wants to join our movement.

well, I (lilliosa) could start posting a drawing of my vulva every day/week but wouldn’t that be kind of boring? it doesn’t really change its look, you know ;-)

Thanks for following!

If the idea intrigues you but you’re scared of posting or don’t know how to draw, don’t sweat it. Pictures can be posted anonymously. It doesn’t matter if you’re not an artist or the best artist around, just do it! There’s no harm and trying and you might even be impressed with yourself :)

By contributing to this blog you’re doing women justice. It’s not about getting attention, it’s not about being sexual, it’s about breaking down the stigma. It’s about showing people that it is there, we can’t hide from it, and it’s just like the rest of our bodies. It’s about breaking down the walls of taboo. If a man’s genitals can be uncensored then why can’t ours? Since anyone could remember the female gentials are something to keep under lock and key. It’s time to make a stand against the negativity and the secrecy.

It gives us entry into the world, it gives us pleasure, and it gives us function.

Ladies and gentlemen, the vulva.

  • Question: I want to participate but I'm terrible at drawing

"This topic has always interested me me due to how everyone seems so preoccupied with how other folks private parts should look and how it has crushed so many people. Its the same with male genitals…I get sick of society forcing everyone into a preconceived notion of what looks beautiful. We are all beautiful in our own way as are private parts. Nature intended for us to be what we are an all be individuals. No two people should look alike. I personally like this unique aspect nature or god has created, whichever way you look at it. All vaginas are beautiful to me, and I am not meaning that in a sexual way at all. They are all like unique flowers. Beautiful in all aspects."
